Best Buy Phone Return



I purchased a printer and was away on vacation for two weeks, upon my return o attempted to hook up my new printer. However the sealed carton did not include the power cord. When I tried to call Best Buy buy they told me to contact HP , when I called HP they told me to return the printer to Best Buy!! Now I was part their 16 day window so now what do I do??

I recently made a return with Best Buy Mac book air through the mail but forgot to provide the return form I did return within the 15 day time Span and used their prepaid label what do you think will happen ?

As of May 20, 2019, Best Buy social media specialists were still sending unsatisfied customers to The Retail Equation for more information on why their return was denied. Fast forward to February 2, 2020, and a Best Buy senior social media specialist states that Best Buy is no longer working with The Retail Equation. And then, on July 7, 2020, Best Buy was named in a lawsuit, along with The Retail Equation and 11 other retailers, alleging invasion of privacy and violations of the California Consumer Privacy Act, among other claims.


Before you buy, be sure you're familiar with Best Buy's return policy. Most products are subject to a 15-day return window, with cell phones, cellular tablets, and cellular wearables having a 14-day window.


For opened items, Best Buy tacks on a return fee of $45 for cell phones, cellular tablets, and cellular wearables (like smartwatches). Drones, DSLR cameras and lenses, mirrorless cameras and lenses, leg and body recovery systems, premium camcorders, projectors, projector screens, and special-order products all have a return fee equal to 15 percent of the item purchase price.


Finally, keep in mind that Best Buy's return policy is under constant evaluation. As the Best Buy site states, "Best Buy may run tests of the Return and Exchange Promise in select locations and may amend these terms at any time."

Not all of them are like that. I used to work at Staples, and my manager would allow returns like 6 months later and allow the coupons to be used any time within a year. Staples also removed veteran discounts, but he let us do them anyway if the customer was a veteran who wanted it. It sounds like your store just sucked.


Best Buy has zero control. TRE itself has very limited control. This is an automated program that flags returns without a human ordering it to do that. Once TRE realizes there was a mistake, it can go and edit the code but that would only apply to future returns.

To return an item to Best Buy, log in to your online account and print out a pre-paid shipping label. Box up your return and drop it off at the nearest UPS location within 15 days of receiving the product.


All returns to Best Buy have to be in like-new condition. If anything is wrong with it (cracked, dirty, defaced), they reserve the right to deny your return. Clothing cannot have been worn or laundered, and must still have the tags attached.

Unfortunately, not all return policies are created equal. "The data gathered from our website show that returns and refunds are among the most frequent issues that bring frustration to customers," says Michael Podolsky, CEO and co-founder of PissedConsumer.com, a review platform. Complaints include unclear return policies, fees for returns and other obstacles.


"If you are shopping online, find out who pays for the shipping when an item is returned," advises Jay Klauminzer, CEO of Raise, a platform for discounted gift cards. "In some cases, you can save on shipping fees by returning an online purchase to a local store."


The popular warehouse club Costco is known for its risk-free 100% satisfaction guarantee. The retailer will refund your purchase price at any time if you are unhappy with an item. Since membership is required to shop Costco's warehouse deals, there is no need to keep receipts since purchase details can be looked up with your membership card. If you buy something on Costco.com, returns can be made in-store or through the mail.


There are a few exceptions to Costco's standard return policy. Electronics must be returned within 90 days, and items with a limited lifespan, such as tires or batteries, may have product-specific warranties. Alcohol and cigarettes can't be returned where prohibited by law, and there are special return procedures for diamonds that are 1 carat or larger.


Nordstrom not only stands out for a great return policy, but also its excellent customer service, says Carlos Castelán, managing director of The Navio Group, a retail management consulting firm. "Many Nordstrom stores now have a customer service bar where customers can go directly to make returns and not have to wait in checkout lines," he explains.


The store doesn't have any published limitations on returns and instead handles them on a case-by-case basis. Returns can be made at curbside, in-store or through the mail, although there may be some restrictions on what can be accepted curbside. Nordstrom also operates Nordstrom Local service hubs to facilitate convenient pickups and returns.


Zappos is a top website for shoe purchases, and part of what makes the company so popular is its return policy. Items can be returned for a full refund within 365 days of purchase. Zappos will also pay for the return shipping and provide a credit to your original payment method. 041b061a72
